We are delighted to share that iCOR has achieved ISO 27001 accreditation, demonstrating that our information security management system complies with the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard, and that we are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our clients' data.
What is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems. The purpose of the standard is to provide requirements for the safe and secure management of information within organisations, with a purpose of reducing cyber risks and data breaches.
What are the benefits of having ISO 27001?
Using the ISO 27001 standards for an organisation’s information security management system promotes a high level of data and cyber security. Not only this, but it offers improvements to an organisation’s efficiency, increases awareness within the organisation of the importance of information security, reduces cyber risks, and mitigates the effects of incidents and emergencies (increasing business resilience and supporting business continuity).
What does it mean for you?
The top reason for gaining ISO 27001 accreditation is to provide assurance to our clients that their data security is a top priority for us. It means that as an iCOR client, you know that:
- Your data is safe. The way that we store data, our response policies to any incidents, and the controls around its security has been independently audited and certified.
- We're a trusted supplier. With ISO 27001 under our belt, your due diligence is simpler, your procurement team is happier, and your own auditors won't question your decision to choose iCOR.
- Your risk is managed. ISO 27001 is evidence that iCOR has systematically identified the risks that matter to your data, put controls in place to address them, and had that work independently verified. Risk management is built in and proven.
We're very proud of our piece of paper on the wall, but it's the reassurance it brings to our clients that matters most. You can be confident that your data is in safe hands, and your information security is one less thing to worry about.
