Foundations of Environmental Law

Environmental Law is notoriously complex, spread across multiple regulators and often requiring specialist environmental knowledge.

This half-day, in-person course cuts through the noise, giving you a clear, practical grounding in what matters most and how it applies to your role.

Ideal for: EHS teams, operations managers, and anyone new to environmental compliance.

Foundations of Health & Safety Law

Health and Safety Legislation is vast, and getting it wrong carries significant consequences for your workers and for the business.

This course builds your understanding from the ground up, so you leave with the confidence to interpret the law and apply it correctly, without needing a legal qualification to get there.

Ideal for: HSEQ managers, site supervisors, and teams new to H&S compliance.

Waste Duty of Care

Undertaking waste duty of care checks is a legal obligation that's easy to overlook until something goes wrong. This course explains why it matters and walks you through how to carry out effective checks, so your organisation stays compliant and accountable at every stage of the waste management chain.

Ideal for: Anyone responsible for waste handling, transfer, or disposal compliance.

Consultancy support from the iCOR Team

You shouldn't have to explain your site from scratch every time you need help. That's why relationships matter to us as much as expertise does.

When you work with iCOR’s consultancy team, you're not passed between departments or handed off to whoever's free. You work with a small, dedicated team who get to know your site, your risks, and your priorities.

iCOR was built to help you manage your legal register with ease. Our consultancy support goes a step further, providing you with the support of our EHS legal compliance consultants to help you turn compliance into action.

“I'd recommend iCOR for the added benefits, the help we get in making our business safer, and the team that comes with it”

James Metcalfe, Port of Tyne

Audit support

One or more of our consultants join you on-site for your iCOR audit, working alongside your team from start to finish.

We bring an expert eye to the process, helping you spot what matters, ask the right questions, and walk away with results that are accurate, defensible, and actionable.

Ideal for: Teams wanting expert support during an iCOR audit.

Action support

An audit is only as good as what happens next. We help you translate your iCOR audit results into a clear, prioritised action plan and stay involved as your team works through it, offering guidance and momentum until every action is closed off.

Ideal for: Teams with open audit actions who want expert support closing them out.

Waste Duty of Care

We help you carry out effective waste duty of care checks, keeping your organisation compliant and accountable at every stage of the waste management chain.

Ideal for: Anyone responsible for waste handling, transfer, or disposal compliance.

Our training is open to anyone looking to build their EHS compliance knowledge, whether or not you currently use iCOR.

Waste Duty of Care consultancy is open to everyone, whether or not you currently use iCOR.

Audit Support and Action Support are designed specifically around the iCOR platform, so these are only available to iCOR customers.

Do I need any prior knowledge or experience to attend a training course?

No. Our courses are designed to build understanding from the ground up, so they're suitable whether you're new to EHS compliance or looking to refresh your knowledge.

Is the training delivered in person or online?

All of our training courses are currently delivered in person, allowing for direct interaction with our consultants and more practical, discussion-based learning.

Will there be an assessment after the training is delivered?

No. None of our training courses require an assessment. You will be presented with an iCOR certificate to demonstrate your professional development.

How often will we see the iCOR consulting team?

This is entirely down to your audit schedule. We typically recommend undertaking an iCOR audit every six months, and we're happy to support every audit, or just the ones where you'd like an extra pair of expert hands. It's completely up to you.

Will we always work with the same consultants?

Yes. Being a small business means our consultants stay consistent and you will see the same faces, visit after visit. With time, the relationship between you and the team, plus their understanding of your site will only get stronger.

Will your consultants come to our site?

Yes. Our consultancy support is delivered in person, on-site, so our consultants can properly understand your risks and ways of working.
