iCOR recognised at the BSI Impact Awards 2026.

25 May 2026

We are pleased to share that iCOR has been awarded the Standards Users Industry Impact Award at the BSI Impact Awards 2026.

The team at iCOR are hugely grateful for this award and want to extend our thanks to BSI for recognising our work.

We're excited to share the impact of iCOR with more organisations and show them what's possible when compliance becomes clear, manageable, and a source of confidence rather than stress.

What are the BSI Impact Awards, and what does the Standards Users Industry Impact award recognise?

The BSI Impact Awards recognise standards makers and users who are driving measurable change for a fair society and a sustainable world. They celebrate contributions to protecting the planet, improving society, enabling health and safety, and progressing industries.

The Industry Impact Award specifically recognises how work has benefitted or enabled industry success and technical advancement, such as through modernisation, improving quality, driving performance, and enabling organisations to work more efficiently.

iCOR won the Industry Impact Award at the BSI Impact Awards 2026. We have been recognised for our commitment to ISO 45001 and 14001 in modernising compliance and audit readiness, enabling organisations to focus on strategic priorities rather than administrative burden.

What are the administrative challenges associated with legal compliance and audit readiness?

All organisations have legal compliance obligations and, in addition, ISO 45001 and 14001 specifically require organisations to maintain a continuous awareness of their legal obligations and compliance status. Traditional approaches (such as spreadsheet-based legal registers, manual legislation tracking, or reliance on external consultants) create operational bottlenecks that slow organisations down and can leave them uncertain about what applies, what matters, and what needs action.

How has iCOR addressed these challenges?

Rather than providing a list of legislation and expecting organisations to figure out what is relevant, iCOR uses a self-audit tool that asks targeted questions about operations. iCOR’s software solution uses a self-audit tool that asks targeted multiple-choice questions about operations. Using those answers, the solution automatically determines relevant environmental and health & safety legislation and evaluates the organisation’s compliance against each obligation.

The solution is updated monthly, and all updates feed directly into the legal register. Action planning is built into the solution, meaning that actions can be easily assigned, tracked, evidenced, and signed off in one place. The timeline feature ensures that compliance activities are timestamped and transparent for auditors, regulators, managers, and stakeholders alike.

The Impact of iCOR’s legal compliance solution

Having used our Environmental Module to manage their environmental legal compliance, we entered into an innovation partnership with the Port of Tyne to build our H&S Module. Here is what the Port of Tyne compliance team had to say about the impact of iCOR:
